Police in north Louisiana say a 36-year-old man accused of murder the 18-year-old rapper known as Lil Snupe has turned himself in to authorities.
Winnfield Police Chief Johnny Ray Carpenter, in a news release, said Tony Holden turned himself in Tuesday morning (June 26).
He was book into the city jail on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond has been set. It was not instantly known whether Holden had an attorney.
Police say Holden shot the rapper, whose real name is Addarren Ross, last Thursday after an argument broke out during a video game at a friend's apartment house. Ross, of Jonesboro, had been shot twice in the chest.
Ross had recently sign a recording deal with the Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label.
According to WVLA NBC 33, a funeral for Ross has been programmed for Saturday morning (June 29) at 11:00 am at the Jonesboro-Hodge High School audience.
