Kiel (Reuters) - Record champ Wolfgang starvation
sails at the start of the second half of the global Kiel Week back on the wave
of conquest.
With his bowman Julien Kleiner
the five-time world title holder from shore ersegelte a second place and two leg
wins, giving the 21 Kieler Woche
victory firmly in his sights. The
two leaders on the heels of the German master Meike Schomäker / Holger Jess (Kiel
/ Eckernförde), who have just won the Euro Cup on Lake Garda. 17 international classes opened their
Kieler Woche in a strong breeze under a cloudy sky. Organization leader Peter Ramcke said
the conditions in late June: "It was a elegant November day today."
The second part of the Kiel
week after the Olympic races going on 30 June
